    • When I am not busy carpooling, cooking, doing laundry, or just having fun with my kids, I am a freelance writer and illustrator. Before I moved west and settled down to raise my kids, I had a variety of careers including advertising copywriter, book editor, ski instructor, lifeguard, and even a summer working in a French hotel as a pastry chef.
