Cubanelle sweet peppers are easy to grow in a garden or a container pot. When the yellow, red, or green peppers are 4 to 6 inches long they are ripe. They are similar to banana peppers. Mild and sweet, the "Sweet Italian Frying Pepper" is more flavorful than Bell peppers. Because of their lower water content they are great for frying and cooking.
