What are you doing for the last long weekend of summer? I've got a Pinterest picnic with recipes, drinks, and summer-y party styles to make the big weekend festive and fun.
I can't think of a better way to start the day... A doughnut hole breakfast on skewers. A fun brunch idea too!

And because I'll want to capture the weekend in photos, I'll bookmark this guide to taking photos on sunny days.

After spending time in the sun, a cool glass of lemonade with juicy strawberries and floral hibiscus tea will be so refreshing.

After lunch, relaxing on the front porch on these charming Adirondack chairs would be so dreamy. Maybe we could play a game of cards.

Of course, while I'm lounging, I would have to snack on some homemade pudding pops.

Summer is slipping away fast. I can't just lounge around all afternoon. A game of croquet with the kids would be fun. Or a bike ride.

Because this meal has plenty of healthy veggies I'm guessing some steak on the grill is recommended.

If you are not in the mood for steak, how about a gourmet burger? The beef burger with Brie and green figs looks heavenly.

Still hungry? Berries are always a good idea. Love how these sweet treats are ready for guests. Simple and sweet. Just fill white snow cone cups with blue and red berries.

Is it possible to have too many choices for dessert? I definitely will pick the strawberry and white chocolate cheesecake. Or maybe the Margarita popsicles. Or...

Of course, I can always have a teeny-tiny-no-calorie slice of Blue Velvet cake.

I would be a bit disappointed if the picnic did not include something with S'mores. I love the graham cracker, chocolate and marshmallow version, but I think a S'mores martini would work. Do you agree?
