There is something about fall that makes me want to get outside more often with my camera. The light plays with shadows and builds contrast in a magical way. Even stark branches turn bewitching as the sun flirts with the landscape.
CAPTURE THE LOOK
I shot this photo early in the day when the sun was coming up. It seems I am never outside without a dog pulling on a leash beside me. Today I had trouble keeping the camera steady on this image as my Peke pulled me in the opposite direction. To add some drama to the image, I shot the tree looking up into the branches.
When I opened the image up on my computer I thought of the Jane Austen quote. The book is a fave of mine and the last scene from the Pride and Prejudice movie is wonderful. I added the quote in Adobe Photoshop, but you could also use a simpler program. A fun way to start is by adding text to an Instagram image with a text app.
