Sketches from Fashion Star: Buyer's Choice

Imagine getting a chance to meet one-on-one with the buyers to get advice. That's just what happens in Week 6 "Buyer's Choice" episode of Fashion Star. The seven remaining designers were given a chance to prove themselves in areas where they might be lacking. Plus they had the amazing opportunity to meet with the buyers in order to better understand their visions.

Today my recap focuses on the designer Silvia who decided to create a wide-leg one-piece jumper. I love what she has been designing over the past 5 weeks and during this episode she seems to really take to heart the advice from the buyers. She met with Caprice from Macy’s who told her to be accessible and versatile. Terron from Saks told Sylvia to do something black and comfortable.  Express opens the bidding with a bid of $55,000. Terron from Saks $200,000 shows how much he loves her jumper and bids an amazing $200,000! Guess who got the jumpsuit!
